Hawaii Tourism reaping the benefits of the movie industry

[gtranslate]

L-appoġġ għall-imprendituri fl-industrija tal-films u tal-midja huwa parti importanti mill-bini ta’ settur ta’ innovazzjoni kreattiva li jiġġenera opportunitajiet ta’ xogħol u jappoġġa t-turiżmu fejn jinħoloq u jiġi prodott il-film.

Award-winning Hawaii filmmaker Vilsoni (“Vili”) Hereniko is teaming up with Australian producer Trish Lake (“Early Winter”), and New Zealand producer Catherine Fitzgerald (“The Orator”) to coproduce “Until the Dolphin Flies.” Production of the motion picture will begin in early 2018.

With a cast and crew that will stay within the islands as filming takes place, Hawaii’s tourism industry will also benefit when they dine out, stay in hotels, rent cars, and take tours.

And there’s the indirect benefit of having the islands of Hawaii forever captured as the backdrop for the film.
